The most boring super food... February 19, 2020 15:25

....has to be extra virgin olive oil.

Because:

It has been in production for 6,000 years, outliving super food coconut oil (remember coconut oil?) by 5,995 years! (coconut oil debunked here).

Being so old makes it less marketable than the 'new & unknown' super foods being found these days.  Such as Turmeric for joints, Acai berry for antioxidents,

But it is the best super food of all.

Extra virgin olive oil is clearly a well researched food, that constantly undergoes further research. Here is a peer reviewed research site.

The Mediterranean diet -of which extra virgin olive oil is central- is at the center of 'Lifestyle medicine' being the most healthy diet in the world reducing the occurrence of cardiovascular illness, type 2 diabetes, stroke, & colon cancer.

It suffers from having too many benefits, so that the healthy message gets diluted.

The benefit for me is twofold:

  1. Extra Virgin Olive Oil will enrich and enhance any food your pair it with.  Put simply, it will make food taste better.
  2. Its health benefits make me feel good when I eat it.

Doesn't that sound too good to be true.

Test this yourself.

Take a bottle of Telegraph Hill extra virgin olive oil, and use it at EVERY meal.  Drizzle it on steamed vegetables, medium cooked steak, potatoes, pasta, salads, tomatoes on toast, fish, rice, noodles... you get the idea.  Drizzle one tablespoon per meal. EVERY meal.

Then when the bottle runs out, you will miss the taste and richness of that drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, you will miss it every meal...

I'm confident in this, if  you don't miss it tell me, I'll refund your money.
