Table Olives Recipe Ideas

Olives add a unique depth and flavour that can't be found in any other ingredient. Try some of our favourite recipe ideas.

  • Good enough to eat straight from the bowl drizzled with Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Best served warm to bring out the flavours. Warm in the microwave for approx 20 seconds.
  • Serve as part of an antipasto platter.
  • Add to salads, especially nicoise, greek and green salads.
  • Add to pasta dishes.
  • Mix with roast vegetables just before serving.
  • Add to casseroles and sauces.
  • Adds flavour and presentation to pizzas.
  • Use in baking. Add to breads, scones and muffins and pies.

Olives need to be pitted if you can’t see them for example in pies and lasagne. If you don’t have a pitter the easy way is to put them on a chopping board and press them with the flat side of a knife.You can do several at a time. Simply open them to remove the pit.
